A mum in Ireland claims her 11-week-old baby grew a large fang-shaped tooth overnight.
Tara O’Byrne from Drogheda told Source she went to check on baby Oscar early in the morning.
O’Byrne said she normally gives him a pacifier and he goes back to sleep, but for some reason he kept crying.
“So I took him out and changed him but when I went to feed him, I found the tooth in his mouth. It had grown overnight,” O’Byrne said.
She rushed him to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, but says doctors spent more time debating what it was, instead of treating Oscar.
She then took him to Temple Street Hospital in Dublin, where Oscar saw a dentist.
“We got an appointment and brought him in. I had to hold him and hold his arms down while she took the tooth out,” O’Byrne told Source.
O’Byrne added that at first she was terrified about the whole ordeal, but she now sees the funny side.
“There were dentists coming in to take pictures of the tooth and everything. We took it home to show Oscar when he gets older.”
